Silence of those who look away

Quakers in this country have been shocked by the police raid at a Quaker meetinghouse in London. Quakers in this country and Great Britain consider our meetinghouses not only sacred places, but also places that can offer sanctuary.

Joint Task Force October 7

Quakers have a long history of agitating for justice. Especially now, with the collapse of free speech and the other civil liberties, with the criminalization of dissent, with growing fears of retaliation, our support is even more important. Support for Palestinians, and those of us advocating for them.

Recent Israeli Brutality

With this, we call to you, students, faculty, alumni, and community members to continue standing firmly with Palestine and the Palestinian resistance. Show up to protests, join call in campaigns, and be there for one another in the face of repression. Speak about it loud and proud. Spark uncomfortable conversations. Educate. Do not be afraid. Let every effort to silence us only deepen our commitment. Our solidarity is rooted, growing and unstoppable. UMW Popular University for Palestine

Last Chapter of Genocide

I had hoped the recent ceasefire in Gaza would be the beginning of a path to peace. Instead, Israeli ground forces are moving into Gaza. I am very concerned about Israel beginning to use the term EVACUATION, which seems to imply permanent removal of Palestinians from Gaza.

Quaker Tent Solidarity

This vision of the tent is about the Palestinian children and their families who are forced to live in makeshift tents because their homes have been destroyed by Israeli bombardment, or demolished by Israeli bulldozers. The United States continues to be deeply complicit in the genocide because of military aid and weapons sent to Israel.
