I am a Quaker, raised in the Midwest. This website is about applying my experiences as a draft resister, and what I’ve learned during the many years of my decolonial journey to reach this point, of conscientious objection to the Christian, colonial, capitalist violence we are embedded in. My decolonial journey included a lot of education from my Indigenous friends. New Conscientious Objection must include Indigenous perspectives.
