Then Monday, May 4, 1970, four students were killed by national guardsmen at Kent State. Wednesday, after attending the usual silent vigil downtown Iowa City, Bruce and I ate lunch near the Old Capitol on the campus, listening to speakers at a rally (2,000). The four scheduled speakers protested the Cambodian situation but urged students not to act, or react, violently. All part of the same genocide
The drone attack on a ship in international waters carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza in the early hours of Friday has been widely condemned, with human rights lawyer Craig Mokhiber saying it was “all part of the same genocide.” “The attacks on the humanitarian flotilla, on Gaza & the West Bank, on Lebanon & Yemen, on Palestinians & human rights defenders in the US, UK, Germany, and elsewhere in the West, on cyber-space & the high seas, are all part of the same genocide,” Mokhiber posted on X.

You can now watch ‘No Other Land’
"No Other Land" is the Acadamy Award winning movie that documents the misery and injustices of the life, and deaths, of Palestinians under the oppressive rule of the Israeli government and ongoing attacks by Israeli settlers from illegal settlements. Because no U.S. distributor had the courage to show the movie, people in this country have not been able to see it, until now.
Palestinian Dehumanization
Forgive Me, Gaza… Forgive me for my helplessness. Forgive me for every sip of water, every bite of food, every breath I take while you suffocate. Forgive me, if those I met in Gaza years ago ever thought I’d forgotten them. Forgive me if I couldn’t help everyone who asked. Forgive my comfort. Forgive my peace. I seek not your absolution— Only that you know: You are not forgotten. Jamal Kanj
North American and Palestinian Colonization
