I've been working on the Quaker Tent Solidarity concept, which is rooted in trying to understand and write about colonialism, both in Palestine, and the parallels to the colonization of Indigenous peoples when white settlers came to this land.

Damage to our souls
One purpose of Quaker Tent Solidarity is to attempt to force people to not look away from the horrors of the life of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
Quaker Tent Solidarity update
I plan to set up a tent at our Quaker meetinghouse as a symbolic gesture, but one that I hope will encourage Friends to take a closer look at what is happening in Gaza. The mainstream media, and the government, are doing all they can to suppress news of the ongoing atrocities. And that was before the Trump administration, which is aggressively targeting anyone who expresses any concern about or takes any action in solidarity. This is usually justified as a charge of "antisemitism", which it is not.

‘No Other Land’ viewing
Despite winning the Academy Award for Best Documentary, "No Other Land" has still not found a distributor in the United States. And as I wrote yesterday, I can't find anywhere in the US to buy the film. You can find listings of independent movie theaters where the film is showing on the website as described below. You can at least see the trailer but note that it is from the UK.
Not under any circumstances
Recent remarks by President Trump regarding Palestinians are difficult to hear. They are a public display of empire and colonialism. And a stunning disregard for the Palestinian people, and the desires of the Arab nations in the region.
