Quaker Tent Solidarity update
I plan to set up a tent at our Quaker meetinghouse as a symbolic gesture, but one that I hope will encourage Friends to take a closer look at what is happening in Gaza. The mainstream media, and the government, are doing all they can to suppress news of the ongoing atrocities. And that was before the Trump administration, which is aggressively targeting anyone who expresses any concern about or takes any action in solidarity. This is usually justified as a charge of "antisemitism", which it is not.

(Endless) War Is — The Answer
The war machine learned the lessons. The conscription was changed to a volunteer army. And the nation became used to seeing sanitized versions of the ongoing, endless wars this country continues to ignite.
Quaker Tent Solidarity
This vision of the tent is about the Palestinian children and their families who are forced to live in makeshift tents because their homes have been destroyed by Israeli bombardment, or demolished by Israeli bulldozers. The United States continues to be deeply complicit in the genocide because of military aid and weapons sent to Israel.
