I've often thought about the parallels between the settler-colonialism that is on continuous public display of Israel's unrelenting attacks in Gaza and the West Bank, supported by billions of dollars in aid and weapons from this country.

It is disconcerting to see both the domestic and international imperial forces of this country exploding at the same time. Starvation is a tool of colonization, weaponized to weaken bodies, fracture bonds, undermine social cohesion, fuel internal aggression, weaken resistance, and turn survival into an isolating struggle.
Hunger Strikes
Hunger strike means to go without food in solidarity with those suffering from hunger, from famine. It also means that hunger has striken the children, the people in Gaza and the West Bank.
